Hi, I’m Jadene — Founder of ScoopMe Wax Melts

I first started making wax melts back in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Like everyone, I wanted to keep myself busy and try something new with the time that I had. I’ve always been a lover of wax melts—spending my wages on anything lovely to warm in my room—but I could never find melts that were long-lasting and stood the test of time. So, I decided to make my own!

From that moment on, I began making and selling wax melts for family and friends and then at markets. That’s when I noticed I wasn’t the only one doing this—most local markets already had a wax melt stall. I needed a USP… something no one had done before.

I turned my kitchen into a mini science lab, testing new ways to make melts beyond the usual hearts and snap bars. Then it hit me: what if I whipped the wax to make it soft? After research (and lots of messy testing!) I couldn’t find anyone else doing it. I switched my process, found the iconic ice-cream-style tubs to pipe into—and just like that, ScoopMe Wax Melts was born.

We Love What We Do

Since then, I’ve been selling our scoopable wax melts at lots of local markets and the response has been amazing! New doors have opened, and there are exciting collaborations in the pipeline with other local businesses—I couldn’t be more excited.

I never imagined my little business would be where it is today—making scoopable wax melts from our cosy cottage in Rayleigh. But it proves big dreams can come true, one scoop at a time.

Reusable Tubs
Our scoopable wax melts come in fun ice-cream style tubs that don’t just look adorable — they’re reusable too! Once the last scoop has melted, simply clean the tub and either repurpose it at home or return it to us for a discount on your next treat.
Handmade in Essex

Every scoop is whipped, poured, and packed by hand in our little Essex studio. We only use premium soy wax, vibrant mica colouring, and cruelty-free fragrance oils to create melts that are as kind as they are indulgent.
